About the PDS Community

With the recent additions of White County and Baptist Health, the PDS community now includes 10 health systems and independent facilities across the state. PDS is a database of paid claims for all payers and all patients, submitted by participating hospitals. This on-line reimbursement benchmarking tool is used by hospitals to enhance their strategic planning process, gain market data, forecast revenues from business development efforts, prepare for contract negotiations, and more. The PDS community in Arkansas now includes:

Arkansas Methodist Medical Center

Baptist Health

Conway Regional Medical Center

Howard Memorial Hospital

Johnson Regional Medical Center

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center

Ozark Health Medical Center

Saline Memorial Hospital

White County Medical Center

White River Health System

Information You’ve Never Had Before

For the first time, you can learn where you stand relative to your compare group, and where there are opportunities for revenue enhancement. You can accurately forecast reimbursement before you decide to open a new service or expand an existing one. When you begin contract negotiations, you can walk in with specific targets in mind and negotiate with more conviction. Hospitals who have been using PDS for several years are reporting adding hundreds of thousands dollars and even as much as $10 million more to their bottom line each year because of how they’ve used this data.

We Invite You to Join

We encourage you to consider participating so you too can enjoy the benefits of having this valuable market information. To learn more and to read success stories, please visit us on the web at www.pds-data.com or email Leslie Gold.
Accountable care organizations take up only seven pages of the massive new health law yet have become one of the most talked about provisions. This latest model for delivering services offers doctors and hospitals financial incentives to provide good quality care to Medicare beneficiaries while keeping down costs. A cottage industry of consultants has sprung up to help even ordinary hospitals become the first ACOs on the block.
